Lizzy Tahsuda

Basics Coordinator

Lizzy Tahsuda joined Ready for School, Ready for Life in 2025 as the Basics Coordinator. An educator at heart, she continues to serve as an adjunct professor at UNC Greensboro, where she teaches career and professional development. She brings experience from the Center for Creative Leadership and Action Greensboro, and values helping others build skills, confidence, and connection, whether in classrooms or communities.

She first connected with The Basics in 2021 as a parent blogger, sharing how she used the Basics with her infant daughter. Now a mom of two, Lizzy is excited to continue blogging while expanding her role to help more families discover simple, everyday ways to bond with their children and support early brain development.

Lizzy holds a masters degree in counseling psychology from the University of Kentucky and a bachelors degree in psychology from the University of Oklahoma. She and her husband enjoy outdoor adventures with their daughters and their rescue dog, Cricket. She is also a fan of podcasts, audiobooks, college football, and exploring local coffee shops.
