Danielle Deshazor-Tabb
Danielle Deshazor-Tabb joined Ready Ready as the Prenatal – 3 Project Manager in March 2023. She has five years of public health experience and is excited to support maternal and child health as well as equitable access to quality resources. Danielle believes that community collaboration and access to resources/education can cultivate the changes needed in maternal health. She’s a Virginia native who moved to North Carolina in 2016 to continue her education. She received her B.A. in African American studies from VCU, and her master’s in public health education from UNCG. Her interest in maternal health was sparked after hearing about the birthing experiences of family and friends. The interest grew into a passion as her grad school journey progressed. She hopes in her current position she can influence radical change in the maternal health care system so that she feels safe to experience childbirth here in the future. While she hopes to have a child one day, right now she’s enjoying being a newlywed and dog mom.
