Mary Herbenick

Executive Director
Mary brings 20 years of strategic planning, change management and communication experience to this role, plus a deep commitment to young children and families in Guilford County. Previously, Mary worked as a consultant to Fortune 500 companies and a variety of national and local non-profits agencies and organizations.

Adriana Adams

Early Literacy Manager
Adriana leads the implementation of Guilford County’s early literacy strategic plan. She brings extensive experience in family literacy, training, and volunteer management.

Rachael Burrello

Operations Manager
Rachael joined Ready for School, Ready for Life in September 2015 after receiving her MPA in Nonprofit Management from UNC-Greensboro. In her role, she manages the processes, procedures, and policies of the initiative, as well as supporting multiple cross-organizational teams and work groups.

Michelle Chapin

Project Manager
Michelle joined Ready/Ready as a project manager in May 2017. In her role, Michelle is responsible for the Continuous Quality Improvement initiative - a capacity-building initiative to enhance quality through the use of data in programmatic decision making. She works closely with community partners, funders, and volunteers to maintain a full understanding of the current landscape of local and regional activities that intersect with the work of Ready/Ready.

Christina Dobson

Project Manager, Get Ready Guilford Initiative
Christina brings almost 20 years of work supporting women and families to attain their goals for health, education, and well-being. After 16 years at the YWCA Greensboro building effective programs for young mothers, Christina spent one year at United Way, helping to create a community-wide network to support family economic stability. She started in November 2017 as Project Manager for the Get Ready Guilford Initiative.
